Authorised to work

In New Zealand, most sanitary plumbing, gasfitting or drainlaying is 'restricted'. That means it's illegal to do it yourself because of the health and safety risks. You also risk expensive mistakes and even voiding your insurance.

You need to call on the services of an authorised tradesperson.

When you use a plumbing firm that is a member of Master Plumbers, you know they are authorised to carry out the work they do.

All Master Plumbers members have a Certifying tradesperson on the team. These people have the highest qualification available and are responsible for making sure the company's work is done competently.

Quality assured

To be accepted for membership, Master Plumbers undergo an ongoing Quality Assurance review of their business practices. This sets Master Plumbers apart from others in the trade.

It doesn’t stop there. All Master Plumbers must comply with a code of conduct as a fundamental condition of membership and follow a code of good practice.

The job done right

Whether you want a leaking tap fixed or a whole new bathroom installed, a Master Plumber can get the job done. Our member businesses specialise in everything from plumbing, gasfitting and drainage, to home heating, solar and more. Whatever work you need done, ask a Master Plumber.

Guaranteed

Homeowners have the backing of the 12-month Master Plumbers Guarantee, protecting you in the event of substandard workmanship and loss of an advance payment to a contractor should they go into liquidation or bankruptcy. Make the claim within 12 months from the invoice, using the claim form.
